Firstly there&#039;s always going to be a delay with pull as you are limited to the time intervals that your mobile agent polls the server for mail. Also, with pull the synchronisation between mobile agent, mail server and desktop mail client is often ropey. I&#039;ve never done it at any setup without having conflicts and lagging from time to time.

Talking broadly, new mail delivery via a push protocol, followed by a reconcile is definitely the way forward. In the article above though I&#039;m comparing LogicMail to the likes of BES, which isn&#039;t fair.</description>
